ASTRO® International Version

The ASTRO harness is designed for rope access technicians. Its design is specific to progression and rope ascent. The 3D foam padding and semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loop construction provide comfort throughout the workday. The gated ventral attachment point allows the user to efficiently install the necessary equipment for progression. The integrated CROLL L rope clamp improves efficiency for rope ascent. The waistbelt features metal side attachment points, equipment loops, and tool holder slots, allowing the user to organize and carry all the necessary equipment for a day of work. DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles and FAST opening buckles make donning and adjusting the harness simple and convenient, even while wearing gloves.

Efficient Equipment Integration with Gated Ventral Point

• Direct Lanyard Connection: Connect PROGRESS ADJUST or JANE lanyards directly to the attachment pin without a connector
• Optimized Rope Ascents: CROLL L ventral rope clamp connects directly to the ventral point for improved efficiency and freedom of movement
• Work Seat Compatibility: PODIUM or LITEPOD work seats connect directly to the attachment pin, supporting the load via the descender while maintaining mobility at the ventral point

Convenient Adjustment System

• Shoulder Straps:
  • FAST opening buckle on the left for easy donning and removal
  • DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckle on the right with anti-slip device for secure, stable adjustment
• Waistbelt equipped with self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles
• Leg Loops: FAST opening buckles allow quick fastening and unfastening (even while wearing gloves) without the need for readjustment

Easy Equipment Carrying & Organization

• Shoulder Strap Velcro Holder: Adjustable left or right positioning for securing an ASAP’SORBER energy absorber
• Lanyard Connector Parking: Installed on shoulders for fall-arrest lanyards
• Foldable Side Attachment Points: Two metal attachment points on the waistbelt for double-mode positioning lanyards
• Tools & Equipment Storage: 
  • Seven pre-shaped equipment loops with protective sheath
  • Two slots for CARITOOL tool holders and INTERFAST connection system
  • Two loops for TOOLBAG tool pouches

Fall Indicator Safety Feature

• In the event of a fall on the dorsal attachment point, a red indicator becomes visible, signaling that the harness must be retired
